The Priscilla (also known as the Mount Vernon) might have been Wardway’s most popular house. This house was very similar to the Sears Crescent, but speaking as a Sears House aficionado, I’d say the Priscilla was a prettier house than the Crescent. A few months ago, I traveled to Illinois and found this especially pretty Priscilla – in brick – on a dead-end street in Brighton, Illinois (about 40 miles north of St. Louis).
